What is Takata Experience?
Takata Experience is a PADI 5-Star Dive & Research Center located in Mahahual, Mexico.
We offer scuba diving courses, eco-diving programs, and marine conservation initiatives. Our mission is to create meaningful diving experiences while contributing to ocean conservation.

I have no diving experience. Can I still dive with you?
Absolutely! Many of our guests are first-time divers.
We offer Discover Scuba Diving experiences, which require no prior certification or experience. Certified instructors will guide you in a safe, supportive environment to try diving for the first time and explore the reef.
If you fall in love with it (and most people do!), you can continue with the Open Water Diver course to become fully certified.

What conservation projects do you conduct?
Takata Experience is actively involved in coral reef restoration, aiming to transplant over 5,000 coral fragments by 2026.
We collaborate with the MARES Center to restore 10,000m² of degraded reef in Mahahual, Mexico.
