Mahahual

Our dive center is located in Mahahual, an untouched paradise for divers and adventurers on the southern tip of the Mexican Caribbean.

Once a quiet fishing village, Mahahual has grown into a relaxed haven for travelers looking to experience authentic Caribbean vibes. Situated south of Playa del Carmen and Cancun, this white-sand getaway offers a peaceful escape far from the crowds.

As part of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the waters here boast incredible marine life and healthy coral systems that stretch undisturbed for hundreds of kilometers. The reef is home to more than 300 types of coral, 350 species of mollusks, and over 500 species of fish, including many protected species and one of the region’s key manatee populations.

Unspoiled mangroves sit just meters from the beach, serving as natural nurseries and safe havens for countless marine species.

This thriving coastal ecosystem supports rich marine life while attracting migratory bird species that feed and breed in the safety of the mangroves.
